The Star Wars universe is a profound universe that goes far beyond the movies. Video games, books and comics give a deeper insight into the already complex Star Wars franchise. Star Wars Legends covers all the licensed backstories of the Star Wars universe outside of the original six Star Wars films produced by George Lucas.
Through the self-contained story expansions, Star Wars offers fans an additional immersive experience of their favourite exposé. Star Wars Legends embellishes this with exciting stories and new characters. This expands the fundamentally complex storyline many times over, making it even easier to understand various scenarios.
To better understand this expanded universe, you have to look at the movies, games and books as one big whole. It is a self-contained story that takes the main story by George Lucas and expands it. Many different Star Wars fans are the authors. Although some of the countless stories are considered more reliable than others, the Star Wars Legends series is considered an “extension” of the main story. All of this fan fiction is known as the “Expanded Universe“, which is already connected to the 6 movies, but not too firmly anchored to them.

CONTENT
The “Legends” series, which exists as an extension to the main story of George Lucas’ Star Wars film series in the Star Wars universe of the same name, takes place over 36.000 years before Star Wars Episode 1 with the “Down of the Jedi” comics.
The Expandit Universe continues the story of the Star Wars epic for 100 years after Episode 6 “Return of the Jedi”.
Unfortunately for many Star Wars fans who delved deeper into the subject matter, the stories surrounding Star Wars Legends were not included in the main canon. Only the online role-playing game ‘Star Wars: The Old Republic’ deals with the stories of the Legends series.
